General Changes
Career
- More money and SP from career
- More stats from career end events
- Fix the thing where +max energy increases fail chance (lol)
Events
- Increase stats and add/or some choices for a number of trainee events
- Add new trainee events for some trainees
- Increase stats from some support card events
Pal Cards
- More recreation events for R pal card
- Pal cards increased event frequency
- Pal card events can occur from off-deck at low rate (like other support cards)
Bad Conditions
- Increase probability to recover more energy when resting with Night Owl
- Decrease bad condition probability from some trainee events
- Remove mood decrease with certain bad condition events
- Slacker training skip mood decrease now random (was it not random before?)
- Summer camp rest cures bad conditions
- Rest has a chance to cure Night Owl and Skin Outbreak
- Training with reporter has a chance to cure slacker
- Certain career events now cure
Race Mechanics
- Add "Runaway" aptitude (you may have seen this referred to as "oonige")
- Fix hills systems (no more phantom hills on Hanshin 2200)
- Recovering HP late-race triggers a last spurt speed recalculation
Guts
- Add "spot struggle" mechanic (front runners compete with guts)
- Add "dueling" mechanic (nearby uma compete with guts on the final straight)
- Last stretch speed increased by Guts
Lane Movement
- Racers will now swing out wider on final corner, making blocking less likely
- Navigation skills increase "passing ability" (?)

General Skills
Competitive Spirit / Wallflower:
- Old: >= 6 of same type
- New: >= 40% of same type (so 4 or more in CM)
- (this isn't a good thing when you have Wallflower)
Iron Will / Lay Low:
- New: can now trigger in mid-race, not just early. Now gives lane movement speed for 2s
No Stopping Me! / Nimble Nav:
- Old: requires 1s blocked
- New: requires 1s uma nearby in front
Sturm und Drang / Masterful Gambit:
- Old: random point in late race, back 25% of racers
- New: be in back 50% during late race, triggers during 1st half of last spurt
Mile Maven / Productive Plan:
- Old: 1st place, random point in early race
- New: 5th or better, random point in 2nd half of early race
Trackblazer / Rosy Outlook:
- Old: must be 1st
- New: must be 3rd or better
Adrenaline Rush / Extra Tank:
- Old: HP empty
- New: HP < 30%
Staggering Lead / Huge Lead:
- Old: 5L gap
- New: 3L gap
Adored by All / Intimidate:
- Old: 3rd or better

Speed Eater:
- Old: 1st
- New: 3rd or better
Battle Formation / Opening Gambit:
- Old: must be 6th or worse, can't fire until 5s from start

Vanguard Spirit / Keeping the Lead:
- Old: 3L gap
- New: 1L gap
Sixth Sense / Dodging Danger:
- Old: must be blocked on front and 1 side for 1s
- New: must be blocked on front OR 1 side for 1s
Leader's Pride:

- New: another uma overtook you, OR blocked on side for 2s
Second Wind:
- Old: random point in midrace, 6th or worse
- New: random point in late race, drains a small amount of own stamina

- Old: seems to have been bugged and sometimes wouldn't fire

Plan X / Countermeasure:
- Old: 2nd-5th, random part of midrace
- New: 2nd-5th in second half of midrace, no longer random

- Old: overtaking into 2nd-5th
- New: overtaking into 1st-5th
Invincible Me:
- This is now in the game!
Fuji Kiseki unique:
- Old: final straight, 3rd or better, uma is near behind you for 1s
- New: if an uma has been behind you for 1s at some point in late race while you were 4th or better, trigger in the last 300m
Daiwa unique:
- Old: 2nd half of the race, 1st place with an uma close behind
- New: can now also trigger when attempting to overtake from 2nd into 1st
Grass Wonder unique:
- Old: overtaking on last straight into 4th or worse
- New: into 3rd or worse
Hishi Amazon unique:
- Old: last straight, overtaking on the outside into 4th or worse
- New: overtaking on the last corner counts for the condition (skill still won't activate until the straight)
Anime Mcqueen unique:
- Old: final corner or beyond, HP<35%, 3rd or better, uma trying to overtake you for 1s or more
- New: 4th or better. HP requirement removed, but it has to be late-race now
Opera unique:
- Old: final corner, 4th or better, uma 1L front and another 1L behind, blocked on side for >2s
- New: 1L in front OR 1L behind, side blocked condition removed
Air Groove unique:
- Old: final corner, overtake into 4th or worse
- New: overtake into 3rd or worse
Biwa Unique:
- Old: final corner, overtake into 4th or better
- New: late race, final corner or beyond, 4th or better position (overtake condition removed)
- Small bonus speed if haven't become rushed this race
Mayano unique:
- Old: final corner, blocked on side for >2s, 3rd place or better
- New: can trigger on final straight too
Rice Shower unique:
- Old: final straight, overtake into 4th or better
- New: any late race overtake into 4th or better counts (skill still triggers at last straight)
Winning Ticket unique:
- Old: final straight, 5th or better, blocked on side >2s
- New: being side blocked on final corner counts too (still triggers at last straight)
Curren unique:
- Old: 50-65% of race distance, overtake into 3rd or 4th
- New: overtake into 2nd or 5th is now okay
Falcon unique:
- Old: mid-race straight, 1st, uma close behind
- New: can trigger in 2nd, as well
Taishin unique:
- Old: final corner, between 50-75% of pack, overtaking someone
- New: 40-75% of pack works. final straight works too
King Halo unique:
- Old: 200m remain, 5th place, never been rushed
- New: 4th-6th works, other conditions same
Taiki unique:
- Old: 3rd-5th on final corner
- New: 3rd/4th on 2nd half of final corner
Silence Suzuka unique:
- Old: final straight, 1st, >1L gap from nearest uma
- New: at any point in the 2nd half of the race, 1st, >1L gap from nearest uma
W.Air Groove unique:
- Old: random point in mid-race, 3rd-5th, overtaking
- New: no longer random
Corner/Crowd/Hill Triggers
All corner skills:
- In multiple lap races, no longer limited to the final time you pass through a given corner
Packphobia / Unruffled / Calm in a Crowd:
- Old: blocked on front and 1 side for >1s
- New: there are umas nearby in front, back and at least one side, but not necessarily blocking
Hill speed/accel skills: Ramp Revulsion / Determined Descent / Straight Descent / 15,000,000 CC / 1,500,000 CC / Highlander
- Old: trigger on first uphill/downhill
- New: triggers on a random uphill/downhill, not necessarily the first
- (other hill skills, such as recovery skills, are unchanged)
Time-Based Triggers
Taking the Lead / Early Lead:
- Old: can't trigger until 5 seconds pass
- New: will trigger immediately
Calm and Collected / Stamina to Spare / Keen Eye / Watchful Eye:
- Old: can't trigger until 5 seconds pass
- New: triggers in 2nd half of early race
